This is apropos of precisely nothing, but you really need to meet/befriend twentyfivepast, who is a lit medievalist and is currently getting all excited about Richard II.

Hello! roz_mcclure suggested that I might want to seek you out, because apparently we both love Richard II and are gutted that we don't get to see the RSC Histories. (I only found out about them two days ago and immediately discovered that they end three months before I go to England, so there is no point in being sad about it, and yet.) And generally you seem awesome and interested in many things that I am also interested in; I have recently come to the conclusion that there is no way I can stop my education after I get my BA, because there is so much more out there that I need to know about history and Chaucer and Shakespeare and everything.

Anyway, hello! I hope you do not mind that I have friended you.

AND THEN I SEE THAT THE OTHER COMMENT IN THIS POST IS FROM HER. I suppose this is what I get from just hitting "reply" and not reading what other people have written?

I don't mind at all! I've added you back (and, on the presumption that you might be interested, put you on the dissertation filter; my diss is about 16th-century depictions of Richard). Nice to meet you! :)
