the situation as it stands

It is a quarter to eight in the morning, I haven't been to bed yet, I spent most of the night watching Cash in the Attic (shut up, it was the only thing on) and playing Tetris online instead of doing anything useful, and my flist is full of posts about how much my religion sucks. and it's dark, and we're wearing sunglassesAlso, it is snowing, at ( Read more... )

while i'm not a follower of your religion, i hate it when people who proclaim any religion (unless it's one of those cults that require you to drink the BAD kool-aid and/or nervegas Tokyo) sucks. Religions are religions, most carry, at the bare bones, the exact same morals and concepts, its just the lil individual differences that people get hung up on. I realize that it's human nature to go "I BELONG TO SOMETHING" but i wish belonging to something didn't mean hating everything else.

Happy Easter all the same! I had a very good weekend, and not even the discovery of a whopping library fine (caused by the idiots at the library not sending them out by email, despite the fact that my account claims to be set up to do so) can dent my mood...

Hope you get some sleep, though!

Oh man, library fines are the worst.

Happy Easter to you too! :)

At my uni they used to have fun in the vacations with sending the fine notice to an address that the student wasn't currently at, due to term/home address mixups. By the time the student found out there was a fine due, it would have grown horrendously. There was a £10 per book limit, but if you have quite a few books out, that can really add up.

Happy Easter! I hear you about the insomnia.

And to you too!

To be entirely fair, the insomnia thing is sort of self-inflicted because I stayed up to go to the eight o'clock mass rather than the more crowded 10:30, but now it is 9:30 and I am not really tired at all (though I kind of suspect that if I go to bed I will fall asleep right away)...

I'm debating just going back to bed. I'd have an excuse with the tail end of Death Flu, and the 9 a.m. one is the only one I can make. (the others have incense.)

Happy Easter! Christ has risen!

I took great enjoyment in being wished Happy Easter by one of the devout Jews on my flist. Oh, LJ, I do love you at times.
