I think, given the recent Jacobi/Rylance shenanigans, you totally need to use every possible reference to pie in order to prove that Shakespeare's plays were in fact not written by Shakespeare, but by a local baker who sneaked the manuscripts into the Globe CLEVERLY CONCEALED IN A PIE.
