Gragh! I've been waiting to see it FOR EVAH, and actually have a post prepared to put up when my B&N gift card starts working again and I pre-order it. :) _As You Like It_ is the play I've been in the most, so it has a special place in my heart - glad to hear that it's pretty decent - the cast looked pretty good, although the trailer looked a bit cheesy.

Anything in particular? I'll squee over all the details. Is Bryce Dallas Howard good?

Bryce Dallas Howard is excellent, and whoever it was who played Celia (I can't remember her name, alas) is adorable, as is David Oyelowo (whom I met and who is also adorable in person) as Orlando. Most of the problems I had with it involved not taking advantage of the potential the setting had for a more complex interpretation...

I am pleased, especially since I just know it can't be anywhere near as bad as Love's Labour's Lost was.

Oh, I really enjoyed Love's Labour's Lost! It's silly and completely on crack, but I thought it was fun. ;)

I love Branagh, and I love musicals, so it's not like I am one of those people who was appalled at the very concept (I have friends who would be). It just didn't work for me for whatever reason. It had moments, but overall--meh.

Damnation, no HBO in the house. Will have to wait for the DVD, I guess. *shakes fist*

Count me in as another one who inexplicably loves LLL. But then, I'm a sucker for people in masks, so there's a big plus...

Oo, I am wildly jealous that you've seen it! I was hoping that he could make me love the play, but I'll settle for charming. :)

Am definitely jealous. Of you and of anyone who'll be able to see it on 21th.
