"Why isn't all Shakespeare that good?"

I'm trying to remember how old zorinth was when he loudly announced "Macbeth's all right, but it's not a patch on Hamlet"; I think he was into double digits, but not by more than a year or so.

You're most welcome! My first encounter with it was in my high school Shakespeare class a decade ago, and I fell madly in love when asked by the teacher to read Hotspur during in-class scene work. ;)

Not all the reviews of Stratford's Henry IV were negative towards Hotspur. See Robert Cushman's review from the National Post.
