Last night I finally finished watching Firefly -- I stopped for a bit due to lack of time and a parental visit, but I've finished off the whole series, and I love it! I am a bit wistful now, though, because after I've watched Serenity there isn't going to be any more. I hate Fox. They drop all my fav shows.

And shows on the WB have a tendency to die slowly by turning into utter crap. At least the ones I like do anyway.

Yeah. Andromeda did have a lot of potential in the first season and a half, but after that...utter crap.

It wasn't WB though -- it was syndicated...

Well, I meant that more as a comment that any show I watch on WB tends to do that. Not that WB did it to them.

And it got really crappy when Tyr left. For a while, I was only watching for Tyr. And then they dropped him. ::SIGH::

i have yet to find any decient Firefly fanfics....... but LOADS of hilariously bad slash fics. like really bizarre parings (Jayne/Book??!! why??) OOC out the wazoo.......

my personal favorite bad firefly slash fic quote goes like this:

{backstory} the plot of this fic is a twofer slash with Simon doing River (EWWWWWWWWWWWWW) and Jayne doing Book (*ded*) the forthcoming quote is "said" by "River" as she thinks about the moral reprecussions of doing her older brother:

"There are many reasons that incest is wrong, but most reasons are social, not bgicagical."

*dies* ahahahhaha its that last carefully misspelled word that gets me every time.

I'm feeling rather guilty that I responded to you vis the M4M paper. Thanks so much for sending it! Now that I've had a couple weeks to process it, I should go back and read it again.
