they have been at a great feast of language, and stolen the scraps

To bring closure to this whole business of taking my exams, I have begun to remove the sticky notes from my library books, a long and rather laborious process.

For no particularly good reason, I've decided to stick them on the bathroom door.

::giggles:: Congrats, hon. ;-)

I just stick my sticky notes in a pile on the piano. But that was last sem. We'll see what happens this sem. I think my stickies are gone now!!

And check out my comment a few posts down, or see my latest LJ post!

That only covers the first volume and a half of Elyot's Book of the Governor. I think I've singlehandedly kept 3M in business over the last couple of months.

No, believe me, I've done my share too. I post-it noted many a textbook this year.

Your local librarian will thank you forever for removing those *before* turning in the books ;)

(There's nothing quite like being busy as hell at the end of the semester and having some ponce turn in fifteen books all filled with flags and stickies and pieces of paper. O_o :p)

Heh, I actually have closer to 40 books out. Although, to be fair, not all of them have notes in them. ;)

(I'm not sure our librarians actually remove them, anyway. I checked out a book a while back that I'd had out before, only to discover that I'd forgotten to remove my notes last time...)

I broke my heart tonight when I began to turn in all the books I've had in my carrel for nine months. Most of them, I never used, so it's merely an aesthetic loss, but I weeped to return Stephen Greenblatt's 'Renaissance Self-Fashioning'...

Such a dork.

That door is freaking awesome. You should have a piece of clear laminate put on and use it as a permanent decoration. ;)
