I got absolutely nothing done today, and now that it's 1:30(ish) and I have class tomorrow morning that's unlikely to change. I don't feel quite as bad about this as I probably ought to, since I did a fair deal of reading yesterday, though sadly enough no Elyot, and I really need to get that stupid book finished ( Read more... )

Frankenstein is something I remember as a fairly easy read. Probably because that was all I was reading at the time and we didn't really get that deep into it. I do remember my prof at the time, a crazy priest, asking us if we had any thoughts on the monster having a penis or not. *sigh* Miss school now...

Isn't there a passage where Victor is fretting over the possibility of the monster and his female counterpart begetting a lot of little monsters? Which I think would imply that he must have had a penis, because, really, Victor would know... (Of course, how it would work is another matter entirely, but 'twere to consider too curiously to consider so.)

There are a lot of great mood icons in this set that I don't have the opportunity to use much...my favorite is "quixotic" with a windmill in the background. ;)
