I LIKE THIS POEM (as it were) but sadly it did not appear in my go-to book as a kid which was called just that, and I discovered it a year later, when the fur coats confused me a little and I spent rather a long time thinking she was talking about a sort of grown-up Narnia.

In a bleak little way, I suppose she was...
