Finally went to go see TMNT today. Ended up spending all my spare cash on various forms of junk at the same time (Anthony Keidis' autobio, couple Pratchet books, "For The Horde" t-shirt (damn you Hot Topic!! >.<*), etc.). I have the following to say

The night it came out I heard someone complaining that there really should be a TMNT movies someday that doesn't focus on the drama between Raph and Leo and actually pays some attention to Michelango and Donatello.

I must admit it would be refreshing to see Mikey and Donni get a little more limelight but it'd be a lot harder to do as well. They make up the smooth, easy-going half of the group; Leo and Raph are just naurally a lot more likely to have brotherly drama than their siblings.

BUT, if someone did manage to get a plt going that revolved more around Mikey and/or Donni it'd be interesting to see how in the hell they managed to keep 'em in character because honestly Raph and Leo are the drama queens of the family. Loose Cannon and Fearless Leader types are just that much easier to manipulate as an author than Goof-Ball and Techno Geek types.

Its just that TMNT movies never seem to focus on anything but EDGY TENSION between Leo and Raph.

Also, I want to see live-action Mousers. With Samuel L. Donatello.
