OOC: Looking for a little help/inspiration.
Okay, here's the deal. I realize everyone's got other stuff goin' on, especially RL stuff during the holidays. Just lookin' for a little help/inspiration.
I've got a fanfic I'm writing, called "Real Life." The link is to the first, and so far only, chapter. It's a "rewrite" of S6/S3 of Buffy/Angel.
To save you the time of reading the very long chapter, the premise is, after Buffy was resurrected, her father sees a newsclip about the "gang riots" in Sunnydale, and decides it's too dangerous a place for Dawn, and is awarded (at least temporary) custody of her. Buffy goes to L.A. indefinitely in order to go to court and try and get her back. Angel offers her a place to stay, and Wesley (who's technically the boss), offers her a job (to prove to the courts she can provide for Dawn financially).
I have the rest of it planned out (up until Connor's abduction, pretty much), but whenever I go to actually write for the next chapter, I can't figure out what to put/where to go.
My proposal is: Is there anyone who would be interested in role-playing this with me? I'm not gonna worry about following the plot I have in my head, I just have lost some of the character voices (Buffy's in particular), and I'd like to see other people's takes on the premise. If something happened "in-game" that I liked, or wanted to quote, etc, I would probably put it in my story, with full credit. If anyone takes me up on this, I'd probably give you credit just for helping me through my writer's block.
As I said, I'm not worrying about following the plot, but if you're interested, it's gonna be Angel/Buffy, one-sided Wes/Cordy, Cordy/Gru, & Fred/Gunn (or possibly one-sided Fred/Wes, I don't remember what I came up with about that). The characters involved in the story are Angel, Buffy (obviously), Cordy, Fred, Wes, Gunn, Dawn, Lilah, Gavin, with Tara making a "guest" appearance, and Willow calling Buffy on the phone at some point.
