Accidental Video ✞ 005 ✞ Some wounds never heal

[The video comes on rather suddenly to reveal there are quite a few drops of something red on the screen. Somewhere off-screen people will hear Mary cursing profusely but to herself. It continues on even as Mary draws close enough to the communication device to be seen by everyone watching. She's holding a dish rag to the crook of her left elbow

[Well, crap. Why does it sound like the angel is scolding her?]

It's just an old wound. A few stitches and it'll be fine.

[ He's...one extreme or the other. Angels are bad at emotions so it's like all business all the time.

Also Dean will punch him and break his own hand again if he just lets Mary be hurt. ]

An old wound? Are you sure stitches will hold?

[Mary would help him learn at expressing emotions.

That's because Dean's an overprotective son. Either way it sounds as if she's digging in the First-Aid Kit.]

Old as in twelve years old but it just opened up suddenly. They did the first time I got the wound.

I'm alright, it's just a scratch. I've got a First-Aid Kit to patch myself up with so I shouldn't need a hospital.

Looks like I've experienced my first bad curse here.

[She'll keep talking so as to not make the girl worry.]

It seems an old wound opened up. Probably thanks to a curse.

I think I can handle it. I'll just stitch it up and Dean will be home soon. [And they both know how protective he is.]

[The minute Dean sees the video, he ditches work and heads back to the house. He comes through the kitchen door bellowing and obviously worried]

[Mary's sitting at the breakfast table with the First-Aid Kit and is stitching up her wound by the Dean comes into the house. She looks up briefly before returning to the large cut.]

In here, sweetheart.

Woot!

[Dean slows down, hesitating and carefully assessing things when he steps into the kitchen.]

You need some help with that?

[While the air may be cleared about them both being hunters Mary had never wanted Dean to see her injured. Still, since he was here she could put him to work.]

There's a bottle of disinfectant in the utility room. Can you fetch it for me?
