Someday I'm gonna try out the paid account. But for now I'll stay free.

As for the layout...go with Lara Croft! Angelina all the way! K, so I'm a little biased..but who wouldn't be? *sheepish giggle*

Paid accounts are cool. But the only real difference is you get more user pics. If you get the 2 month account, you get two free codes. You can give those to your friends who don't have journals. So that's a perk.

However, if that's the reason you want a paid account, I would suggest you check out invitecodes to get some codes for your friends.

I use the "friends only" thing on my journal because I have too many immature people that read my journal. They've gone as far as create fake journals so they could spy on me. Now how lame is that? It's the reason LJ made the code rule anyway.

Also with paid accounts you're allowed more options with modifying your journal and LJ polls. Check the FAQ ... they tell you pretty much everything. Later :)

What made me have a friends only journal is that if someone i know ever read my journal and they found some private stuff out about me i'd be in trouble. A bad point about having a friends only journal is that if you want any of your friends who don't have a journal to read your journal they can't. But, i'm sticking with friends only.

I got a paid account for 5 dollars someone else bought it for me, it's not to much different other then I've been able to find actual people (in the directory...) which i gusse it cool, and you get more user peeksures. other then that I can customize almost everything without ....

friends only. My ex read my journal and then went to her journal to twist shit so people would like her more. lame i know, and besides im sick of these people commenting that haven't read but like five entries - and assume they know shit. (drama = shit )

so re-cap - paid is good, but i don't think i'm going to add more time on it for now....

friends only - good, but it makes me weird, cuz it's like i'm proving i have something to hide and i don't.... so eh

Hmm...someone bought my paid account for me (it expires this month!! AHH!). But yeah, you're able to make your own layouts, make your own mood themes (if you're able to have a host), have more icons, have more codes, uh...just basically, you have more freedom to mess with stuff. I'm gonna renew my paid account soon, in fact. =)

Uhm...I made mine friends only because people I knew (except for my best friend and sister and another friend of mine) were reading it and I was getting way too many anonymous comments, so I figured, FUCK IT...they don't need to know about my life. So that's that.
