My mum is currently in hospital. They aren't sure if she has had a heart attack or not. I don't know what to do. I can't go home as I can't afford it

I hope and pray your mother gets better Sally and I hope the LA thing is legit and goes well. You deserve it. Just make sure you get someone with legal skills and background to give any contracts the once over.

Please consider contacting Shelter Cymru; you can make an appointment with them by calling 01267 229206. The caseworker I worked under while I was with them was no-nonsense and worked hard to get clients what they were legally entitled to; she wouldn't take guff from anyone. Her successor should be set in the same mold, and I'd give it a try. You have my most sincere sympathy for the crap you're both going through.
