A/N: I got this idea from chapter 4 of my HaeHyuk chaptered fic. I'm sorry if this is not that good but the idea just came out and I just need to write. :)

“Yah! The two of you! Stop this nonsense already!” Leeteuk demanded them. Hyukjae tried to calm himself down because he's afraid of his Leeteuk-hyung but he immediately defended himself.
“I didn’t steal anything hyung! Why the heck is that fish accusing me of something I didn’t even do!!!” Hyukjae tried hard to hold in his tears. He cannot believe that Donghae would even blame him for something he's not sure he did.
“Just admit it Hyukkie!! You stole it!”
“But I didn’t! I didn’t steal anything Lee Donghae!”
“Woah? After stealing it like that, you’ll say you’re innocent? Come on Hyukjae!”
“But I really did nothing Hae! Why are you making it hard for me? I didn’t do anything wrong especially I didn’t steal things!”
“Things? You think my heart is a thing? After taking my heart away, you’re telling me you didn’t steal it and it’s a thing?!”
Hyukjae’s jaw fell. He lowered his head and started cursing under his breath. ‘That's it? He's been yelling at me because of that? Stupid fish. How can he be so angry about me stealing his heart?’ The next thing he knew was tears started falling from his eyes which shocked Donghae big time.
“Hyukkie…” Donghae called as he slowly approached the now crying Hyukjae. He didn’t mean to make the latter like this. All he wanted to do was to confess his feelings but sadly, he never thought that Hyukjae would be this sensitive and they would end up arguing like this.
Hyukjae stared at Donghae while he tried to hold his tears but those tears kept falling. He was indeed guilty for stealing Donghae’s heart. He planned it well to make Donghae fall for him because he likes him but as time went by, he saw himself completely falling for Donghae so he became so eager to really win his heart.
And now, in Hyukjae’s mind, he thought Donghae’s fuming because of getting his attention and stealing his heart. ‘Maybe he likes someone else before that’s why he is getting irritated now that I stole his precious heart.’
“Hyukkie, stop crying!”
‘He’s mad at me…’
Donghae took a hold of Hyukjae’s hand and he placed it in his chest where Hyukjae can feel the beating of his heart. Hyukjae earnestly felt the pounding of Donghae’s heart. His tears continued to flow as the thought that Donghae was blaming him for taking his heart away. Donghae was about to declare his love for Hyukjae but the latter talked first.
“I’m sorry Hae. I’m sorry. I admit it. I want you to be mine that is why I tried everything to make you fall for me and I’m really sorry. If you love someone else, I really don't mind if you go to that person but… please, don’t be mad at me.” 'And it's not okay if you love someone else but I'm feeling guilty with stealing a heart. Hae... please.'
Donghae stood there as Hyukjae walked away from him. ‘No! he can’t just leave like that. I just want to let him now that I love him too.’
“Lee Hyukjae! If you dare to move one more step, you are so dead.” Donghae threatened and Hyukjae stood still, not wanting to move a muscle because he suddenly felt anxious.
Donghae wrapped his arm around Hyukjae’s waist. He turned Hyukjae around and they were facing each other again. Hyukjae lowered his head, avoiding Donghae’s gaze.’Why are you making it hard for me Hyukkie? I just want to tell you how I feel.’ He cupped Hyukjae’s face to stare into his eyes.
“Don’t ever say sorry for taking my heart Lee Hyukjae. Don’t ever say sorry for wanting me to be yours. Don’t ever apologize for falling for me because I won’t ever be sorry for loving you.”
Hyukjae embraced Donghae tight as he realized that Donghae just told him that he loves him too. ‘Everything is worth it huh? All my efforts are worth it. He loves me too.’
“I love you Hyukjae.” Donghae declared as he leaned forward to Hyukjae. He closed the gap between them and Hyukjae didn’t even hesitate to kiss back. The kiss was so sweet and full of feelings. They both pulled away and smiles on their faces are very visible.
“I love you Hae. I love you so much.”
“Ehem. The next time you want to be cheesy and such, can you just keep it to the two of you and not cause our dorm with chaos?” Leeteuk said in annoyance and relief as he went back inside his shared room with Donghae.
The two just looked at each other and laughed.
‘After so many years, I finally have him.’ Hyukjae thought and he smiles to himself.
"Hyukkie, I don't mind if you don't return my heart but promise me you'll take care of it." 'It might be a confession turned into an almost disaster one but at least in the end, we finally have each other.' Donghae thought as he waited for Hyukjae's response.
"I promise, I will Hae."
