Oh man, I loved your reviews! They were always so funny and awesome and I am seriously going to miss them. Whatever show you end up watching next I'm gonna have to also watch just to read your reviews.
There's a lot of speculations about whose hand caught Excalibur (Freya or Arthur's) and to be honest I have no idea, and in the end I don't think it matters too much for me. But, ugh, yeah ... the episode seems to just linger. Like, when you get chilled to the bone and no matter how long you stand by a heater you just can't seem to shake the cold. Merlin's last episode was a huge emotional roller-coaster which seems to be hitting me more and more the days after watching it. Of course, the first time I watched I was live-streaming and missed huge parts, but .. yeah. Second watch through was a lot better.
Anyways, loved the review. As always. Thanks for being awesome.
Thank you! I'm always so thrilled when someone enjoys my attempts at humor. ;)
Heh, I am convinced it was Freya (even if the director said later that they didn't have a female diver available for filming and thus had to use a male diver). She holds Excalibur in her care until either Merlin or Arthur are in dire need of the sword again. ;)
The episode was beautiful. The nods to the legends were lovely, but ultimately, our boys were at the heart of everything for me. My poor, darling boys... *clings to them* The emotional rollar coaster ride had me in tears by the end, but it's one I'll be glad to watch again and again. Heh, can't wait for the fifth series to make it across the Atlantic so I can buy it on DVD. :)
This was great. Again you made me laugh so much with your commentary. Always inserting yourself into the conversation and then the guys talking about you. So cute.
FYI, it was supposed to be Freya's arm but Alice said they couldn't get a female that day so they used a male diver. Still, it is supposed to be Freya.
I loved your Merlin reviews and I'm sorry that this was the last one. Thanks so much for making it such a fun experience!
Thank you! So glad to make you laugh! :D It's fun having conversations with the boys. I tend to drive them a little crazy. ;D
Oh yeah, it was totally Freya. ;D I'd never think otherwise.
I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed my reviews. It was always wonderful to write them, even when the show was frustrating me like nothing else. I'm glad I enhanced your Merlin viewing experiene in some small way! :)
