Had to laugh about your comment about me. Very cute. :P Plus I love your commentary. It's such fun and makes me smile even when I'm remembering how incredibly intense this episode was.
Loved the episode. Gave me almost everything I wanted except Merlin's reveal to Arthur. Loved that Morgana knows now and she's planning something smart for a change rather than just gloating.
As for Merlin and being stuck in a cave, I really expected it. The title of the last 2 episodes talk about Merlin in the crystal cave and since he would try and help Arthur, he would have to be away from Camlann for Morgana/Mordred to get to Arthur.
I'm really not sure I can watch the next two episodes. My brain hurts just thinking about it.

I loved the episode too! You're right, the only thing that could have made it better would have been Arthur finding out. As to that, I'm just praying that he'll find out before the end. Because Arthur dying without ever knowing? Would suck hugely.
Morgana scares me these days, and with Mordred on her side now and him having a clearer head on most things... yeah, it's going to be horrible, I just know it.
It does seem to imply that he'd be in the Crystal Cave, but from the previews, it didn't look like the Crystal Cave, just an ordinary one with rock and dust and general misery. :( But that scream... *whimpers*
I don't know if I'll be able to handle the two episodes either! MY DARLING BOYS ARE GOING TO BE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!! *sob*
Of course you realize that if tradition holds true with the show, they will kill her off before she can reveal or even really do anything about it. I'm really not looking forward to the last two eps, because they are for sure going to trash her character even more before the end. I really wanted her to be redeemed in the end, but the writers are too simple minded to go there.
Redemption for Morgana on any level would be wonderful, but I'm trying not to pin my hopes on it, because it's so unlikely to happen. It would take something huge to get her to turn from the path she's on, and I just don't see it coming. :(
