New layout and incidents

Jan 10, 2012 23:13

It occurred to me that I've never had a Merlin/Arthur layout before. I've always focused my layout love on my girls, whom I adore to pieces. But now I figure, in the spirit of the new year, why not give my darling boys some love too? So, new banner and pretty colors to match! :D ( Read more... )

I adored the previous layout, but this one's colour scheme is easier on the eyes :)
The library kerscuffle sounds scary! Luckily you managed it!

Heh, glad you like it. :D

Heh, yeah, it was, though it wasn't until it ended that I actually thought to be freaked out. That was when I noticed I was shaking, and didn't stop for the next ten minutes or so. But it passed. :)

A couple of very ill-mannered children, apparently. *sigh*

Ugh, I've heard about that virus from other people on a different site - it sounds really nasty, glad you managed to defeat it.

And uuurgh even more about the fight in the library. I'm really impressed that you managed to do the right thing so well, it must have been so scary. Nasty.

And it's a lovely new layout! :)

Yeah, it took a while, and I was seriously irritated, but finally managed to get rid of it.

It was scary, though it didn't really register until it was over and I realized my hands were shaking. If anything, the thing I was most frantic about was that security didn't come running within thirty-forty seconds (the security desk is right outside of the kids'/teens' area), which they're supposed to when the panic switch is flipped. One of the girls at the library told me that that switch should only be flipped in real emergencies because security would come barrelling in, ready to bust some heads if necessary. Took them nearly two minutes. No one actually complained out loud in the aftermath, but it wasn't difficult to feel the words in the air once we were all in the back and out of the public eye.

Thanks! Glad you like it! Pretty boys are pretty! :D

Ugh, I've had that virus at least twice. I think I ended up having to go into the registry and manually delete it, which was scary, because the system restore didn't work. Thankfully I have a friend who is a professional computer programmer and he reccommended me an anti-malware software that was free and fairly trouble-less. Though I did think it was silly that when googling how to get rid of a fake anti-virus software you got told to download more anti-virus software.

Make sure you remember what you did this time and what sites you looked up in case it happens again. :)

*snorts* Yeah, it seems kind of redundant.

Oh, definitely! I've written it down and everything, just in case.

Oh, dear on the library scuffle. Glad it ended relatively easily.
