The practicum project is done. It's finished. Complete. Just has to be printed and made to look pretty. I can turn the damn thing in, to the supervisors on Monday and my advisor on Tuesday.

Lucky bitch! I mean, congrats!!! :D lol I've only got about 5 hours of on-site time left and I'm working on my paper. ...But now my practicum supervisor is apparently out of the country, so I don't know if I'll be able to get my paperwork signed by him any time soon! ARGH!

Urgh, that sucks! I think I'm lucky, having Dr. B as my advisor. She's always around, gets back to me on email within a day, and is always insanely helpful.

I can't believe it, but if I'm lucky, I may be able to turn the entire practicum notebook in on Tuesday... holy crap...

Dr. B is my advisor too--I was talking about my on-site supervisor at OSU :) I haven't contacted Dr. B much, but her on-site visit a couple weeks ago was really pleasant. Poor woman got lost on the OSU campus and I had to go looking for her ^_^

My project was a booklist for readers' advisory, basically the books had to be part of a YALSA award or booklist as well as a booklist/award chosen by teens. I also did a short response paper talking about what I found, how I found it, what I didn't find, etc.

No, that was for the Stupid Online Class. This is my whole 'practical experience' class, where I get to do some work in an actual library. Part of the class is doing a project of some kind along with the hours worked. My project was to make a list of books for the librarians to use in readers' advisory with their teens, as well as write a short response about what patterns I found in my compiling of the list. The paper part was being an extreme pain, and I was finally able to make a break through and finish it today.

Speaking of the Stupid Online Class, I just have to turn in the last assignment tomorrow evening and I'll be done with it too! Score!
