Wow. Ice cream and Michael being beaten to death in the same chapter. I don't know whether to smile or throw up. Emotional rollercoaster!
*clings to the first part*
Poor AU Atlantis. I wish they could have ice cream too.
Awesome fic, AQ. I really like to see how the same people become different when exposed to different events. Nature vs. nurture and all that. Interesting and well done!

Yeah, they need it probably more than good Atlantis does. *sads*

Thanks! :) That was something I had in mind even at the earliest stages of this fic. I wanted to see how far I could push the characters, and especially Elizabeth because I like to pick on her. ;)
Michael's part in it was perfect, especially his lines about Teyla.
Heh, thank you! I was absolutely tickled when I came up with this scene. I'd made a few hints about AU Michael earlier in the fic and what he'd done to Teyla, so I thought this was a great way to follow that up. And Teyla got justice, though the question still remains if this is how she would have wanted it.
Also, love the beginning shot of John and Elizabeth on the balcony, but then again, I am such a sucker for those things.
Me too! ;D Hence why I couldn't resist having a goodie friendship moment between them. That, and it balanced out the scene over in the evil verse. *g*
This was just phenomenal. Dude, what you built here was amazing. The two sides of Elizabeth in a way, just how far both Earth and Atlantis have gone in the alternate reality. AU!Elizabeth was creepy, cool, and if I hadn't been so scared of her, I would have wanted to hug her.
I love the dual endings. Each fits their respective verse perfectly. And *glees* at the SG-1 characters just cuz I love them, even if they were trying to retake Atlantis.
Wonderful! I was rather fond of them when I wrote them and hoped readers would share in that! :)
Each fits their respective verse perfectly.
I thought so too. On the one hand, you have Elizabeth and John somewhat shaken by what they saw, but moving on and heading off together for a night of teamy goodness. Then on the other, you have Weir and Ronon sinking further and further into their darker natures without John, Rodney, and Teyla there to provide them balance. *bounces* So much fun to write about!
