Wonder how Ellis will explain they lay off of 60-80 people. I mean, I know he'll spin it to make himself look like some martyr, but there are too many others out who are after his head.

I have no doubt it'll be some big political ploy if the State Congress doesn't vote his way. He'll show those people up in Tallahassee and all the judges that we can cripple our office within an inch of its life if he doesn't get what he wants.

Never mind the fact that we're the second worst county for debt. I'm surprised he settled for number two. Oh, wait, but we had to run a fiber channel over to the new office yesterday. Funny how we have money for that but not for employees.
