Aw, what a sweet proposal story!

And a pearl ring, definitely. Did you see greenconverses's post about that the other day? :)

By the way, "hyperbolic" is a nice word. Just saying.

I love how this is centered around a theme, impulse, but tells an important event anyway. This is my favorite of your drabbles, definitely! ♥

I didn't see that post actually, till you mentioned it. I just imagined that Percy would search for the perfect pearl in the ocean and then get it made into a ring. *dies of the romanticism* I couldn't fit that tidbit of information into the fic though, at least not well, so I left it out.

I just checked out the post - oh my goodness that ring is exactly what I had in mind. The colour is perfect. And gorgeous. *fangirl squee*

Haha, glad you like the use of 'hyperbolic'. I had a fleeting thought that it was too big a word to be using in Percy's perspective, but he's older in this fic so I didn't think it was out of character.

Thank you so much for commenting! Makes writing fics more fun. ;)

Ugh, I hate when you have a super-cute detail like that, but you can't fit it in. I feel your pain.

Well, it's not like he actually said it, you know? I think it's just fine to be used in third-person narrative. ;]

It does, doesn't it? :D
