Wales Comic Con
This weekend was the first in 3 weekends of awesome, Wales Comic Con in Wrexham. I've been going since 2010, and it is quite possibly the best signing con in the UK imo. I responded to a friend's Facebook post earlier today... he was upset about something at work, and he ended his post with something to the effect of "Don't be a dick."
My response was that "don't be a dick" is a life-lesson mantra of mine, and it's not selfless, it's works even selfishly.
Anytime you're a dick, your life gets worse. When you're a dick, you may not notice this, but it's true.
Not being a dick improves your life, in addition to making others' lives more pleasant. One can only hope, however futilely, that Piggyback girl learns that some day.
