It has been empirically determined that I really, really DO NOT LIKE fennel. At all. The list of things that polkamadness will eat and I will not has now increased to two things--fennel and (most) ham. The list of things that I will eat and he will not is still vast. :)

So, I've been meaning to post this for a while... I've taken up rock climbing, specifically at Planet Granite in Sunnyvale. I really suck at the climbing part, but I am belay certified. :) Anyone interested in climbing with me? Ideally I'd like to find a regular climbing partner, but let me know even if you're only interested in every so often.

My grandfather passed away at around 9:00 pm yesterday.

So, if we were to throw a Housewarming/Lunar New Year/Mardi Gras party on Saturday, February 17, would anyone come? We were thinking of opening up the house mid-afternoon and continuing until everyone leaves or we want to sleep. Is anyone interested? Are we competing with another event that I haven't thought of?

Is anyone out there interested in a pair of girls figure skates? They are a skate size 4.5 which seems to roughly correlate with a shoe size of womens 5.5. Given that they were mine at one point, they are probably relatively narrow.
