Update on this 'Arry 'Otter movie... thing.

The movie? Not as good as it could have been. Technically, yes, absolutely brilliant - the special effects were flawless. Emotionally - no impact whatsoever, maybe the range of a teaspoon? Characterisation was bleh, oh-kay, although I really enjoyed three different people - Luna Lovegood, Bellatrix Lestrange and Neville Longbottom. They were all ( Read more... )

dude...
i fucking loved it... specially compared to the last 4... which were shit..
i went in there expecting shit, and pleasantly surprised!
and the acting/characterisation weren't THAT bad... again, compared to what they used to be!... but the harry/Sirius relationship was good... if not the death scene... honestly...
but i liked it a lot...
but wasn't expecting much

xDD Well, I've never actually sat through any of the other movies except for the first. But seriously. Where's the emotion? I was supposed to be practically flooding myself with tears when Sirius died. And it didn't happen.

^^ "three sleeps" says your msn name... loser. :P

Ooh, long comment! xDD Yeah, it was entertaining. And I want to take Luna home with me. She was so adorable. Not creepy at all, in my opinion, although I can see how she could have been to others. She was just too cute in my eyes to be scary at all.

Oh, Lucius was another I actually enjoyed. I mean, in the second movie I remember 'wtf'-ing when I saw him, because he was nothing like I had imagined. Now, he's just... awesome. Bellatrix was drop-dead fantastic, even if, again, she wasn't what I had actually pictured.

I still haven't seen the fourth movie... I haven't even seen two or three all the way through.

MUNGO. I know. How could they miss it? And Dumbledore, yeah. Quidditch too. And the Weasleys - they're like... an integral part of the plot and they were hardly in it! I wish they'd made the Fred&George leaving scene a little bit more spectacular, actually...

But still. I stand by my judgement. Entertaining, but no emotion. In other news, how has yourself been?
