Mm. It would seem there have been one or two things that aren't exactly ...common.

Oh, like those flashes that people keep seeing? They're only happening at Latimir?

[...] Like those, yes. Unless I'm mistaken...

Our landlord has recently had her chip removed.

The effects seem to be of the magical sort. I can only guess that is what you have run into. Nothing harmful I hope?

Is that so? Then, it is a simple explanation. Thank you.

No, nothing harmful.

Aye. Thankfully so.

Good to hear, though do watch out for rather bright flashes of magick. They can blind one for a small amount of time... I found this out just the day before.

[And he would chuckle at his own expense, not that you could hear it.]

What happened in Latimir...?

[...] Nothing of any particular note; it would seem to be mostly comparatively inconsequential effects of a chip removal -- such as the flashes of light one or two have encountered.

Oh. That does sound harmless, though it's probably unsettling to see those. At least it's not like Horton and the possessed furniture.

No, nothing like that, fortunately. I'm glad to say I was unaffected by that.

No, I didn't -- I, personally, have nothing to complain about. (Magic healing!)

No explanation, but I'd like to know why I was suddenly blinded by a flash of light.

angelic_lawyer November 8 2009, 17:32:23 UTC
Apparently it's a side effect of a chip removal.

Do you know whose?

[...] Naja Salaheem, apparently. Is there a reason you wish to know?
