I have started this story at least three different times, and still can't get the beginning to be what it needs to be for the one scene I actually know I really want to build into a story.

So, you know, Rejected Beginning of a Story I May Never Finish, Because Spencer/Brendon Fic Is Apparently Impossible For Me to Write:

And Just... / Panic v. 2.5 / 375 words )

spencer/brendon, failboats at the disco, bandom? really?, bandom, ficlets

Why don't you just write the one scene you want to write, and then see what happens?

I'm afraid that if I do that, then I won't write anything around it. Kind one of those things where you eat the brownie, then don't really care about the rest of dinner? My brain does not work like a normal brain should, I think.

It's very sad, really.

No, I get that, but I'd still write it and see if it goes anywhere. I mean, it will make you happy to write that part, right? That's reason enough, and it might be enough to make you keep going. Or you might not need to.
