High BP and bloods that aren't great sound all too familier. That and excess protiens in urine all point to pre-eclampsia. At 36 weeks that put me in hospital (thurs evening). Initially for 24 hour observation, but it increased until after 4 days I realised I wouldn't be out befor the birth (Monday). I let work know the next day, and on the day after they decided to induce, but low foetal heartrate on contractions led to an emergency section at 35 + 1 gestation. Amy was in hospital for 17 days, 7 of which I was in with her. In total I was in for 14 days and going quietly mad.
Nick's sister Angie used her day off to come and visit when she was two days old. As Angie's a holiday rep for Thompsons and was on Gran Canaria or somewhere equally as hot and not England, she spent most of that 24 hours travelling or sleeing.
Anyway, congrats to all, and can you bring pics to Maelstrom?
My Mum had pre-eclampsia and she went into hospital a week after her wedding in the october (I was due in the janauary). I ended up being induced mid Dec. She had blood transfusions and all sorts and she stayed a further 9 days until christmas eve. Good things was she walked into a new home and everything had been done for her.
