Okay so I come bearing a fic...This thing is damn near epic. It took me almost two weeks to finish. It's nearly 8,000 words and I think it's my proudest accomplishment to date. Hopefully, ya'll will agree with me.

I really enjoyed how you got into James' as well as Marie's head. Generally most Peter/Claire fics focus on how it affects them and possibly Nathan- but to take their daughter and show how she might feel about knowing her parents were related and living with her grandfather...

I do have a question, though. Why Michael? I got the impression that she was named after the Archangel, but why not use Michaela or something else instead of the male version? It's nice and it does fit her, I'm just curious.

I also like how Claire is slowly wasting away because her lack of faith, and how meeting Marie along with James is her cure.

The fact that both Marie, James and Nathan believe that destiny and fate are two separate things, while Peter and Claire believe they are the same is another interesting point you brought up. I like the contrast between them and how it affected everyone involved.

Excellent job, this was an amazing fic. I'm still pretty much in awe.

I'm glad you liked the perspective! I definitely wanted to try and write it from someone who's on the outside looking in. As for the whole fate/destiny thing, I'm one of those people who believes they're two different things. I'm definitely a Nathan. lol.

I chose Michael because I remember in the pilot Angela mentions that Peter's real name is Michael. I'm not positive if I made that up though now. I just remember noting it because it's *such* an Italian thing to do (I'm Italian and we have like four Michaels in the family...)

Peter is still holding one of Claire's hands and their eyes are locked, speaking words as only soul mates can; without opening their mouth. Marie bravely reaches out for her mother's other hand, catching them both off guard.

that right there just killed me. you really hit home. GORGEOUS fic. it goes in my memories!
