last night i was listening to a playlist made up of all the songs that you have ever put onto mix CDs for me, and i put the playlist on shuffle and i was listening to it kind of loud, and then someone knocked at my door and i went out and got it, but we couldn't hear the music because i guess it was on a kind of quiet song, and then a few minutes later 'like a prayer' started blasting out of my bedroom and there was this like almost-awkward moment because it was almost to the point where i might have gone in and turned it lower, to have a better conversational atmosphere, but i didn't and i thought about you because you gave me that song on a mix CD.
