Piper didn't feel like going to her classes, and she certainly wasn't ready to go back to the hotel. Still, she was tired of lying to her family everytime they asked if she was okay, so she didn't feel like being at the Manor either. She knew there was one family member who probably wouldn't nag her so much.

"Hey," she greeted, standing just outside Paige's office door.

Paige made the tea as quickly as she could and handed one of the mugs to Piper. "Okay, spill."

Piper took the mug and sipped from it, trying to get herself more calm. "Once you live on this island, it never seems to leave you. Did you happen to hear about any weirdness in town last weekend?"

Paige nodded. "Yeah, there were a bunch of people who thought they were other people or something. You mean that stuff happens off the island too?"

"Yeah, sometimes. It did last weekend," Piper replied, shuddering slightly.

"So you thought you were someone else?" Paige guessed.

"I was still me," Piper said quietly. "My boyfriend was a vampire. So was my best friend. When I said it was a bad weekend, that was kind of an understatement."

Paige wasn't sure what she was expecting, but it wasn't that.

Piper was feeling extremely uncomfortable right now. "It wasn't their fault. When they are themselves, they would never hurt me. Ever."

"Of course not. I wish I could offer to heal your injuries though," Paige said. "I'm kind of a sucky whitelighter."

"You seem to be a great whitelighter to me," Piper said, smiling slightly. "It's easy to talk to you."

"I'll be okay," she said. "Injuries are minor."

"No," she said quietly, finding the floor fascinating again. "I want to. I just don't know what to say."
