Angela is sitting in the food court after school one day. She had to do a little shopping and Elias would be leaving for his Grandmother's house for a few days, so they'd agreed to meet and talk for a bit. And perhaps exchange Christmas presents.

She looks around for him, hoping he gets there soon. They won't have much time, after all.

So I talked to the teacher and he told me that I could do a paper for extra credit. I'm good at papers.

Dad's okay. Still drinking but I keep trying to get him to get help.

Gran is still in the home...I don't think she's coming out.
