With the boy tied to my bed, which wasn't the most pleasant thought, considering that the boy was possessed by an Ethros demon and could spill ectoplasmic stains all over my bed, and with Cordy going off to Rick's Magic and stuff to pick up an Ethros box, especially designed to capture an Ethros demon once it has been exorcised, Wesley and I drove

This meant nothing to me. Fear wasn't an instinct that I possessed, and it certainly didn't apply to humans who looked at me as an evil being because of what I was. It might be understandable, but it was still close-minded, regardless of what I had done in my past. If going in there and telling this Father Cullen that we needed his help didn't prove that I was worthy of that help to him, then he wasn't much of a man, even if he was a man of the cloth and I was a 'spawn of hell or evil'.

She stared at me as if I were the anti-christ and glared back at her scorned, for a moment. It was another affirmation of what I already knew; that no matter how much I did to try to atone for my past, I would never outlive it or atone for it, and this woman didn't even know what I had done in the past.
"You somehow have sensed what Angel is. He indeed is a vampire, but he has a soul. You have nothing to fear from either of us. We seek Father Cullen because we need the exorcism of an Ethros demon."
I wanted to explain to Wesley that it didn't matter. That because I was here, they wouldn't be helping us, regardless of what kind of demon was doing what to what kid. I was filled with hate for this woman right now.
"I'm afraid that the Father will not be able to help you."
Of course he wouldn't. "You'll be willing to let a young boy die because I was made a vampire when it wasn't my choice?"
She turned and looked at us. "You may be a vampire, but the decision was pre-made. I could get ( ... )
