So much for walking

I went for a hike in Mission Gorge trails this afternoon and about 10 minutes I fell and sprained my ankle really bad. I probably would have a broken ankle except that I already broke that ankle a few years ago and have a metal rod there now. Damn it. So much for my plans to run the treadmill and hike every day. Oh no! Damn - that's a tough bit of unpleasantness! I had a sprained ankle about 15 yrs ago, and it was a b---h.

yeah... i broke my ankle REALLY bad one new years eve several years ago... broke the bone straight through, dislocated my foot.. it wasn't pretty. now it has an 8 inch flat piece of metal and a bunch of screws in it.. you can actually feel the screws under the skin in some areas.. verrrrry creepy.

I have various bolts & pins in my left foot from where they reconstructed the arch 6 years ago. It's enough to set up a hand-held security wand at the airport.

That sucks, I've been hiking up Cowles Mountain twice a week in the morning, if you feeling up for it after your foots better you could probably join my friend and myself.
