A Sherlock Holmes poster with dear Jeremy and Edward Hardwicke just sold on eBay for 1 903 dollars. The poster was blue and from The Master Blackmailer. I have the red one from The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes (hanging on my bedroom wall ;) ) and well, I did not pay anywhere near that amount. I do know when I bought mine there were more ( Read more... )

Agree. I have spent out large amounts on JB items myself, but in the last six months sellers seem to of got real greedy, I fear never being able to afford things any more. :'(

There are lots of things on e bay Jeremy related that i would love to buy, but i agree the greed that is out there is unbeleivable. Obviously it would be justified if something was very rare, like the copy of the plaque that was on the Abbey National building in Baker Street which Jeremy unveiled. That plaque has long since gone. probably got stolen, but the copy of the plaque was put on e bay at a high starting price. Just as were some original set pipes Jeremy used on stage as well. But for other things such as books, posters etc they should not be set at a high price. A Study In Celloid i know is out of print but such high asking prices, eek ! Anyway that is going to be reprinted this year and i am gonna be on the reservation list when it is announced. I'd rather pay £40 tops than £300-£400 that is asked for it on E Bay !! YIKES !!!
