1 - the first few seasons were really good, but it got really weird in the last couple, esp the last one. I had NO idea what the fuck was going on. A bit like what happened with Andromeda.
2 - I am totally biased when it comes to Claudia Black - she currently heads my Go Gay For list!
Farscape! It's like crack fic in space with muppets but at the same time it can suddenly be serious and moving ;_; I will point out that you'll want to be able to get your hands on the miniseries after you finish the original series pretty quickly. They were only told they were being cancelled on one of the last days of filming the last episode of season 4, so the original series ends on a cliff-hanger.
