Thanks! It was kind of built around the idea that Jason killing the Joker wasn't intrinsically wrong. If circumstances were different, he could have axed the psycho and everybody could have just celebrated... except for Bruce, of course. 'Cause he's screwy that way.

I feel a little stunned.

If Jason had been allowed this kind of father figure in the canon, or anyone who care more about HIM than the mission/crusade, what would have happened to him? Something probably better than being beaten to death and then rejected when he came back. I get a tear in my eye whenever someone does good by Jason. Thank you.

Really well written; well told. I agree with the previous comment, that if Jason had been raised by someone with his well-being as being their top-priority, he wouldn't have been the tragic figure he is today.
