Hard melon is hard

I got one of those rainbow melons and it doesn't break! Does anyone know how to open it? I tried flying around with it, and I think it might've moved a bit, but then again I was flying so it's hard to tell.

I bet it'll be really, really tasty when it opens up!

A rainbow melon that you think may have moved when you had it in the air? I gather you tried placing it in high places and things like that? Rainbows appear in the sky due to sunlight reflecting off moisture in the air, maybe you could try wetting your melon while in the the air...? Eh, that doesn't sound quite right...

Or maybe it's tied to emotions, since rainbows make people feel at ease and you're happy when you fly...tch, no that's stupid too. It's not a mood melon.
