Overly Sentimental?

I don't know if it's hormones or if I am stumbling down that rocky road to depression again.....

I have been watching a lot of anime lately. Mainly because I joined DVD unlimited to try a variety of anime before I start purchasing. I have already worked out that I want Azumanga Daioh and will buy Fruits Basket as well. Anyway I am finding that I ( Read more... )

You've seemed like yourself to me lately.

All the same, just keep a light awareness of the possibility. If it is happening, then it will keep happening and being aware may help you realise that sooner.

But don't stress or panic about it. Most people have times like that and just ordinary hormonal stuff can mess us up any time. (Is your hormonal stuff just the same as the general public or a bit different due to the endo anyway? Because that could be a factor too.)

Hey

I think the endo does not help with the hormones either :( But it seems to be okay :)

No I don't think you're being over-sensitive.
I do the same thing, and just think it's because I really get myself involved with the story and the characters :)
Theres nothing wrong in that, infact I think it's good, because if something is able to move you like that, it's worth it right?
You know you've still got emotions, and you also know that the stuff you're watching is GOOD.

I agree that emotions are good, and that it helps to gauge(sp) if you like the movie or not. I think if a peice of art, movie or book moves you in some positive way then it's very very good.

No you are not being overly emotional, just letting your emotions be expressed. Occasionally I'll do the same rather than try not to be affected because it is just a movie;)

I was listening to the Jane Eyre (musical) recording while sewing and was blubbing like a blubbing thing.

speaking as someone who deals with depression, it sures sounds like it.

You know what I'm going to say. Get some help! And stop watching stuuf that you know will set you off! Action films and comedy only! Maybe some horror thrown in for good measure.
