surely Jack>USB isn't any better than Jack>Line-IN? if it was a midi device it would make more sense.

pretty cool gadget though, i guess :)

saying this, i have my POD hooked up, where as "the device" could go into amp/FX software?

now i'm just rambling .. i'll leave it at "pretty cool gadget.." :D

I guess with line in...you still really want a good Amp...A good Guitar and possibly a good pedal/FX/Rack unit...

This however lets you play with the shittiest guitar you like and nonoe of the aforementioned equipment..

So for 80 quid you get that plus the software...though Im using it with Guitar Rig 2.

Best part is you can record a guitar track then change the effects after wards...with a line in you could probablly only EQ/Compress the recording really...unless you wanted to try using software distortion on a guitar track....

Quite impressed with it now its working properly, it isnt that different to Line-In or even using a mixer really....just cuts out all the nice expensive gear that guitarists like :P

Worth a squirt for 80 quid...especialy if you have guitar Rig2....Amp modelling, custom effects, hi-end distortion...theres about 120 different FX you could chain together....anyways, I dont actually work for IK Multimedia so ill leave there too...

Might post up a sample or too...

If you're Interested of course ;)

A bit of Compression and EQ afterwards to toughen it up but other wise thats just a patch from Guitar Rig2 >:D
