The problem with heart attack symptoms is that panic attack symptoms can also manifest themselves in a very similar way and once you identify one thing as 'heart-attack' then often your body panics and creates the other symptoms themselves. I don't say this in any kind of dismissive way, of course, merely concern - a girl I used to live with genuinely believed she was going to have a heart attack fairly regularly and got the whole aches/dizziness/nausea/doom/everything, in a way that confused the doctors, even, and she had so many scans and things - but there wasn't anything physically wrong with her at all. I wonder if the apprehension/panic about 6/24 is contributing to any bad physical feelings you have? Reminding yourself of the date will also possibly only contribute to the anxiety.

*hugs* I hope things go all right for you ♥

yeah, a couple months ago, sis thought she was having a heart attack and went to the ER. the dr's said they think it was just an anxiety attack.

the thing here though...well, sis is a hypochondriac and _I_ don't have anything to be anxious about:S well, the 6/24 THIS month, yes, perhaps, but I had this happen last month too, and it was bad enough that I woke up Brian and Kristy cause I was freaking out.

and the only reason I had even thought about it being a heart attack was cause we have a history of heart attacks/problems + strokes in my our family. my dad died from a stroke, and my baby sister died during surgery to fix her heart (born with a heart murmur).

so, considering our family history, and then arm suddenly going numb + tightness in the chest + trouble breathing + everything else.....yeah.

just taking aspirin and getting through this one hour at a time:S
