Heh, in my
previous journal post I ranted and raved about how I think their graphic novel for the new Burton Alice in Wonderland suck.
Wangsting about how something sucks ain't helping anyone, so I thought I'd try my hand at drawing my own comic adaptation of the movie. In the shoujo manga style because I think that's the most appropriate style to use, and by that I meant the panelling. The people I draw don't really look like manga characters IMO. Just a short snippet because dang, shoujo manga takes pages upon pages to deliver a short piece of information.
So. A six-page sequence of the scene where Stayne corners Alice in the hallway, because I'm a big Stalice shipper. See what I mean by it taking pages upon pages? If a 30 second sequence take 6 pages to do, how long do you think a full-length movie adaptation would be? 1000+ pages maybe?
EDIT: NOW DONE!!!!!!! All six pages inked and coloured!!!
