It upsets me how apathetic people can be. Maybe they're not really apathetic, but it's frustrating how people are so unwilling to confront others. I too am one of those people (sadly) but working with people makes me realize how easy it would be if everyone would be just more open. It doesn't help for me to find out about a problem you're having ( Read more... )

I've come to the conclusion: I can't live with anyone.

I expect a certain amount of cleanliness myself though I can be quite slobbish at other times. Tolerance levels for others seems to drop quite quickly when you live with them.

i know what you mean. the main thing is that the state of your own room doesn't matter. I have no business caring about how messy/clean your room is. But communal places like the kitchen and living room should be kept in decent condition. like ming said, leaving a lot of dishes in the sink for extended periods of time is not cool. (veggie washing!) at my place, we have a dishwasher, if she really don't want to wash them, then at least load it!

i did not want to post here and bitch about my roommates BUT after today i had too.

The things i hate most is the DISHES! we use a dishes washer but if they still the dishes washer is full of clean dishes they leave everything in the sink! They hardly ever take the dishes out and put them away, i do it probably 90% of the time. One of my roommates is even worse even if there is no dishes in the dish washer she still leaves them in the sink! I just can't stand it. The pots and pans bug me the most... since some times food stick to pot/pan and you have to actually hand wash it, they don't they just leave it there! I finally got fed up and just left all those ones in the sink, i think one has been there for about 3 weeks now. The dish washer doesn't clean every thing you have to rinse it first, SO RINSE YOUR FUCKIN' DISHES FIRST! they have to nerve to say its not clean after it comes out of the dish washer, FUK.

i don't want to get started on other things, i am just going to end it here. talking about it infuriates me. arrgh.

this totally turned into a room mate rant post. my roommate is pretty good about unloading the dishwasher. that at least, hasn't become a problem. i feel that i would have lashed out at some point in time if she didn't wash dishes or take clean dishes out...
