Please, let me love you. It's an amazing meta and an amazing introspection of Buffy's soul. I have to say: I'm invested in Spuffy more than ever, more than when the show was aired. I felt pretty satisfied with Chosen because I firmly believed in that "I love you" and all the Buffy slut-shaming wasn't able to convince me that she was just "messing" with Spike's heart. I felt like she let herself feel the pleasure of loving Spike, even for a second, she revelead the truth between the shadow and the soul. With the comics I'm more pissed off, because I get that you need to create drama to make things interesting, but the space sex was awful and, once again, Buffy paid with her heart. LET'S FUCKING STOP DOING THAT. Please. Let's give the girl the freedom to love and finally give a proper chance to Spike and Buffy.
LE FUCKITY FUCK. I think that Buffy deserves to be in happy relationship after everything and we, as audience, deserve more from the comics than a stupid space porn and the Bangel from season two remixed.

hahaha i am in way too deep. so much identification. and part of me thinks i grew up ~around her, to a degree, the way spike and buffy grow around each other. just, she's such a formative influence.
