I love the little moment between Willow and Buffy; the dialogue is fantastic.
And the realness between Buffy and Spike is underlined by the tenderness and simplicity of their words and touch, the banter and raw emotions: such a wonderful contrast between what they have and the ridiculously OTT and OOC sexcapades between Buffy and Angel.
I love it!

I'm so glad! That part just felt like it came together perfectly. I sometimes worry when I write Willow, so it's a relief to hear she rings true.
And you so totally understand the parallels I'm drawing here. YESYESYES.

Somehow, I don't think it's going to go this way in #37... but a girl can hope...

Yes, we fangirls can dream even though it's never gonna happen. Sigh.

It'd be a riot (in a great way) if the comics actually went there, but at least we have pretty Emmie prose! I really love your portrait of what's going on in Buffy's head. It shows that you live in her headspace (in a very good way!)
(And hey, Georges did say Buffy comes in and sees him without a shirt, so...)

Yes, Jeanty's line about Buffy walking in and seeing Spike without his shirt on was total inspiration for this. Not like it's going to happen though especially so soon after Buffy just hooked up with Angel.

I really love Willow's Who hasn’t tried to end the world when they’re having a crap day?, while the way Spike handles - or, rather, doesn't handle - BuFfy is masterful. And I really love her tracing his face, to convince herself it really is him.
Oh, Joss. Why can't you give us this? ::wails::
