this past week - hell it hasn't even been an entire week - has made me feel completely worthless. Devalued as a human, a friend, as anything. I've concluded I invest way too much emotion and time into people. It always ends up the same -- someone or something else comes along and I am done. I know no one means to do it, it's just the way it ends up
