Dec 09: Merlin, Arthur and Uther do Christmas.

Dec 12, 2010 16:59

Fandom: Merlin
Prompt: Merlin can't get home to Ealdor for Christmas due to the abnormally heavey snow fall so Arthur asks Merlin to Christmas dinner with him AND his father.
Prompter: owensheart
Author Note: I have included (pre-evil)Morgana  because I love her as a character and her dynamics with Arthur and Uther were lovely.
Author Note 2: Sorry, it's late.

The custom in Camelot was to give all household staff a coupe of days off to visit family. Uther had preserved meats and cheeses left in his quarters and Arthur and Morgana spent a couple of days without personal servants. )

Such a nice moment i just wish there was a little more of it!
I love the idea that they take Merlin under their wings because he's to clumsy to get home without killing himself.

Promiscuous Morgana is always fun too!

Thank you! (I do too, there just . . . wasn't. *shrug*)

Ooh, interesting reading. I saw it as just her being out of the public eye/relaxed, but I suppose I personally sometimes *do* feel more sexy when wearing only a massive shirt and pants (British pants, i.e. underwear) and curled up on the sofa than I do in more formal company when wearing things like trousers.

Oh well! Never mind! It was a moment captured like a photo!

Lol i don't know why i thought of her like that... perhaps it was purely because she was more relaxed and as you say, out of the public eye. I think the ankles help too lol!

Thank you >.<

Well, probably because Merlin was thinking of her like that (a bit). And the ankles. Bare feet with extravagant dresses is a dangerous mix.
