Poor Dippy the fake diplodocus*
Is losing his role as the focus
For tourists that pass
Or the odd science class
If only he looked more ferocious.

*Look, I spent ages trying to rhyme focus. Help me out here and pronounce it DIPlowDOCKus.

That is how I pronounce diplodocus, thanks to a dinosaur song on some otherwise long-forgotten children's TV programme of my extreme youth.
