Leonard can't wait to be free of Starfleet and their bureaucracy. He just wants to go to Georgia and to Iowa and be in the sunshine with Jim. He just wants a break, wants to spend his time with Jim's dazzling smiles and bright eyes, not Starfleet and their stuffy conference rooms. ♥

nodding at Sulu and Chekov.

I see what you did there. Actually, I think I'm just reading too deeply into it.

Yeah. I commented on that. Because you know, I pick up things. You're so impatient, omg. I haven't even gotten to that part yet when you brought it up!

they've decorated it with pictures Jo drew that were on the walls of Leonard's old dorm

I really like this added touch.

He dumps the food on the table in the kitchen and crouches in front of Leonard, pulling the padd out of his hands and kissing away his short protests.

I could picture this so clearly in my head. I wish Kirk just climed into Bones' lap though for relations of the intimate nature, forgoing food.

Leonard drawling darling in Jim's ear because he knows how much he likes it.

You do things to me. Things I cannot say out loud in public. Be still my heart. I love how comfortable and easy this feels. I love how lazy it reads. ♥
