Still wondering when I'll have a tournament go well for me, like so many of my friends have had. By and large I'm playing pretty damned well, and not getting much in the way of results. Scrabble tournament. The words to the left of the double slash are the bingos I played, those to the right are the ones that my opponent played.

A letter in lower case is a blank; a letter in parentheses is a tile that was played through on the board.

A bingo is when you use all seven tiles on your rack. It gets you a 50 point bonus.

If it's any consolation, the bingos look pretty stylish on both sides, and at least a few of us are thinking the exact same thing when it comes to when we're going to have a good tournament result.

Hm. You clearly did WAY better on Day 1 than on Day 2. I think it's because we didn't drink nearly enough on Saturday night but got sloshed on Friday night. Next tourney we'll do shots between rounds. ;-)
